What's in my travel makeup bag '18

As you know holidays are coming to an end ☹️. As I just got back from holidays my travel makeup bag is still packed and I wanted to show you all what are my go to products to take away with me, wether it be the beach or the bush! I'll start in the order of how I do my makeup ☺️

NYX studio perfect photo loving Primer - R220

As I have dry skin, this primer keeps my skin moisturized and makes my foundation look flawless and last all day.

Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation SPF 15 - R630

This Foundation has a sheer to medium coverage which is perfect for the beach for that natural looking finish, also the SPF 15 helps protect your skin from the sun. The foundation is also perfect for dry skin.

Maybelline Master Strobing Stick in Light - R160 & NYX Duo Chromatic Highlighter

The Maybelline stick highlighter gives a beautiful glow which can be worn with or without foundation, The NYX highlighter can give a sheer to blinding highlight. If applied wet it can become a bit clumpy so apply light handed first with a dry brush and layer if needed.

NYX HD studio photogenic concealer - R123 & Mac Mineralize Concealer - R360

I use the NYX concealer for under my eyes when I'm wearing foundation as it is a lighter shade and brightens up my eyes. It doesn't crease and lasts a good 6 hours. I use the Mac concealer when I'm not wearing makeup and want a bit more coverage under my eyes, on blemishes etc... The Mac concealer is great for dry skin and both have medium to buildable coverage

Rimmel Stay Matte Transparent setting powder - R105

This sets my makeup like a charm and extends the wear of my makeup. It does say Matte however it doesnt dry my face or stick to dry patches on my skin. It would be perfect for oily or dry skin!

Estee Lauder Blush All Day Quad - Discontinued, Single blush similar - R615

I don't normally wear blush but when I do I use this quad as they are natural looking blushes which can be sheer but buildable. The blushes give my face a natural flush of colour when I'm wearing makeup.

Benefit Full Brows Ahead kit - R525 which includes: High Brow - R325, Precisely, My Brow Pencil - R355, Gimme Brow & Browvo Conditioning Primer - R425

I don't change the shape of my brows, I just fill in the spaces which are lacking hairs to make my brows more defined and darker and then I use the gimme brow to 'fluff' my eyebrows out and make sure my brow hairs are 'locked' in place.

Essence I Stage Eye Shadow Base - R52 & Morphe 35K Palette - R550

The Morphe 35K palette is perfect for traveling as it has a wide range of looks you can do. I can do a natural golden brown shimmer eye or a dark halo smokey eye if I'm going out. The quality of the eyeshadows are amazing and worth all the money.

Smudge Waterproof eyeliner in white - R30 & Bobbi Brown Long Wear eye pencil - R375

I use the white eyeliner on most day to day makeup looks as it makes my eyes look larger and brings out the blue in my eyes. The Smudge eyeliners last so so long almost 12 hours, it's only R30 and the same quality, if not better than my Bobbi Brown one.

Mac In Extra Dimension 3D Black Lash Mascara - R300 & Benefit Roller Lash - R165

The Mac mascara is my all time fav! It separates my Lashes, make them nice and black, make my lashes look 5 times longer and doesn't flake. The Benefit Mascara is similar but if any water will get near your eyes it will run. Not a suitable breakup mascara!

The Body Shop Colour Crush Shine Lipstick in No.13 - R150, The Body Shop Colour Crush Matte Lipstick in Sienna Rose - R150, The Balm Read My Lips Lip-Gloss in BAM! - R250, Mac Lipstick in Viva Glam II - R240 & Mac Matte Lipstick in Velvet Teddy - R240

The Body Shop lipsticks are extremely moisterizing and gives a sheer coverage that is buildable, adds a natural colour to my lips. The Balm Lipstick is beautiful for a short while, as it is a lip gloss it isnt trasfer-proof and doesn't last that long. Mac lipsticks are just amazing regardless of the colour, I've never been disapointed as of yet with my Mac Lippies!!

Mac Prep & Prime Fix + - R320

Finally, I use this as a setting spray and to spray my brushes to allow for maximum payoff from my shimmer eyeshadows. As a setting spray, it makes all the powders on my skin look natural and flawless. It makes my makeup last longer, refreshes my face and smells amazing!
